For 26 years, the Interfaith Children’s Movement has brought people together around a shared commitment to Georgia’s children. What began as a call to work across faith traditions has grown into a statewide movement that equips advocates, strengthens communities, and improves outcomes for children and families.

As we celebrate our 26th Annual Prayer Celebration, we also celebrate the countless people whose faith, compassion, and commitment have helped carry this work forward.

Young people have long been at the heart of the Prayer Celebration, and this year is no exception. Our Youth Advocacy Interns will once again serve as hosts and speakers, reflecting ICM’s belief that young people are not just tomorrow’s leaders; they are leading today.

As county coalitions grow, school and university partnerships expand, and new relationships are formed, youth continue to shape the future of our movement with their ideas, passion, and voice.

A NEW WAY TO CELEBRATE

This year, we’re embracing a new way to gather. This year’s Prayer Celebration is designed as a birthday celebration for the movement, bringing us together for an inspiring afternoon of prayer, music, storytelling, and community, followed by birthday cake and refreshments. Rather than a traditional breakfast or luncheon, we’re creating space to celebrate our shared journey, honor those who have helped build this movement, and look ahead with hope as we continue Growing Forward Together.
