CASA stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocates. CASA volunteers are a source of hope and support for child victims as they wait for the courts to decide where they may safely live.

Attend a one hour intro:

Second ICM Member Meeting is Thursday, February 28. 

The Stresses of Being a Foster Mother

In an informal talk, a foster mother to 5 siblings, plus her own 4, opens a lens for us into the foster care system.  She is a woman with immense fortitude and a very good heart.  

How to Be an Advocate

The 2019 Georgia legislative session has begun.  Brenda Smith, ICM Advocacy Committee chair, gives us a preview of what to expect between now and April.  Brenda, an experienced advocate, also shares her “Tips for Effective Advocacy at the Legislature.”  

And get ready for another ICM Day at the Capito on Monday, March 4! More details coming soon!
