What: Leaders from across the state coming together to take stock of school justice work and move forward. The summit agenda is designed to provide an overview of the current school justice work in Georgia and discuss plans for restorative justice, transitioning youth from DOJ back to school, diversion programs and an effective school-justice partnership.
Who: The Georgia School Justice Summit is organized by: Barton Child Law & Policy Center; Clayton State University; Criminal Justice Coordinating Council; GA Appleseed Center for Law and Justice; GA Department of Education; GA Dept of Juvenile Justice; GA Division of Family and Children Services; GA Office of the Child Advocate; J.W. Fanning Institute; REACH Georgia; and Supreme Court of GAs Committee on Justice for Children which is staffed by the Administrative Office of the Courts.
