ICM General Meeting

  • The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany 2089 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30307 United States (map)

Join a group of concerned citizens who are working to ensure the well-being of Georgia's children.

This meeting will include a discussion of the healthcare coverage needs of Georgia's children in light of The President and Congressional leadership's desire to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Georgia's reluctance to expand Medicaid. Repealing ACA without an adequate replacement would do great harm to the coverage of children who are disabled, disadvantaged or whose parents cannot afford coverage under the new law. This has the very real potential to destabilize Georgia’s health insurance market, and stress our health care delivery system.

We will also discuss our partnership with the #IamMedicaidGA Campaign and how you can help advocate for those who fall into the coverage gap.

Networking starts at 6:30 pm and the program kicks off around 7pm.

All are welcome!

However, we would love to know if you are coming so we can have enough handouts.
